Democratic Fears, Pork Land Speed Record Set
Wow, suddenly the ‘Stimulus’ package is out of Conference. This is like a world record, the largest peacetime spending bill in US history takes less time in Conference than a bid to raise the price of postage stamps 5 cents?
This is what I’m guessing, Reid and Pelosi got a 2:00 AM phone call from President Obama. He told them to get the ‘Stimulus’ package through ASAP. Compromise with the three Senate Republicans and get the thing to his desk because, you see, the thing stinks.
Make no mistake, the efforts the Democrats are making to rush this thing through is a HUGE sign the ‘Stimulus’ package is in deep trouble.
So easy goes it ladies and gentlemen, keep the sun shining on ‘Porkulus’. The more people know the worse off for the Democrats, ‘Porkulus’ is the ‘Bridge to Nowhere’ ten thousand times over.
Should Mitch McConnell try to slow this thing down? If he can, if, then there is hope Democratic support for the boondoggle will begin to shatter.
